Now let's just say that 10 of those repairs are covered by your manufacturer's warranty, which will leave you with 10 repairs.
If you only spent $350 - $450 per repair which is uncharacteristically low by today’s standards, you would expect to spend about $4000 for repairs on a 99.9% perfect car.
It makes sense to protect yourself.
